Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# JIMS654NHX and was fixed
in Notes/Domino releases 7.0.1 MR, 6.5.5 MR, and 6.5.4 Fix Pack 2.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino releases 7.0.1 MR, 6.5.5 MR, and 6.5.4
Fix Pack 2 fix lists (available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):

LotusScript
SPR# JIMS654NHX - Fixed a problem with new databases created by agents. If the
database had never been opened before, then the first time the update task
tried to refresh a view index in the new database, it would generate an error:
"err_invalid_btree ERROR: Invalid btree context signature", after agent
completes.

The error occurs because the Update task is trying to refresh the index for a
view which is currently read-only. This scenario is common in the Sun
Infrastructure Infinite Mailbox application.

Workaround:
If you haven't yet upgraded, you can stop the present occurrence of the error
by restarting the Domino server. In the Infinite Mailbox scenario, opening the
database manually using the Notes client will cause the errors to cease.
However, the error will continue to occur on any newly-created archive
databases created by the Infinite Mailbox utility.

To avoid the issue in custom applications, avoid setting databases to be
read-only.

If you experience this issue and haven't yet upgraded, contact IBM Lotus
Support to investigate whether a test fix is available for your configuration.

Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading Notes/Domino.
